Invitation for Editorial/Reviewer Board Membership

Ved International Journal of Yoga & Allied Sciences (VIJYAS) invites applications for Editorial Board and Reviewer Board Membership. As an international platform dedicated to advancing scholarly research in Yoga, Physical Education, Health Sciences, Sports Sciences, Ayurveda, Naturopathy, Psychology, and Allied Disciplines, the journal is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic excellence through a rigorous peer-review process. We welcome experienced academicians, researchers, practitioners, and subject experts from around the world to join our Editorial and Reviewer Board.

Editorial/Reviewer Board Requirements

Applicants should meet one or more of the following criteria:

  • Hold a Ph.D. (Doctorate) in Yoga, Physical Education, Sports Sciences, Health Sciences, Psychology, Ayurveda, Naturopathy, or a related discipline.

  • Currently serve as Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, Professor, Research Scientist, or equivalent position in a recognized University, College, Research Institute, or Healthcare Organization.

  • Possess a Master's Degree in a relevant discipline with significant teaching, research, or professional experience.

  • Demonstrate expertise in their specialized field through scholarly publications, research projects, academic contributions, or professional achievements.

  • Have published a minimum of five research papers in national or international journals, conference proceedings, or edited academic volumes.

Interested candidates may submit their updated Curriculum Vitae (CV) to the journal's official email address. Applications will be reviewed by the Editorial Committee, and selected candidates will be notified accordingly.

Responsibilities of the Peer Reviewer

Peer reviewers play a vital role in ensuring the quality and integrity of published research. Their responsibilities include:

  • Evaluating manuscripts within their area of expertise.

  • Assessing the originality, scientific merit, methodology, relevance, and contribution of the submitted research.

  • Providing constructive and objective feedback to assist authors in improving their manuscripts.

  • Recommending acceptance, revision, or rejection based on academic standards and ethical considerations.

  • Maintaining strict confidentiality throughout the review process.

Review Process Considerations

Reviewers are expected to:

  • Inform the Editor promptly if a manuscript falls outside their area of expertise and, where possible, recommend alternative qualified reviewers.

  • Complete the review process within the stipulated review period, generally within two weeks of manuscript assignment.

  • Notify the Editor immediately if circumstances prevent timely completion of the review.

  • Disclose any actual or potential conflicts of interest that may affect the objectivity of the review.

  • Adhere to the ethical standards and confidentiality requirements of the journal.
